Oleg Valerievich Artemyev, was born on October 2, 1965 in the city of Syktyvkar in the north of Russia. After finishing school, he entered the pedagogical institute, then served in the army, got married, and began working at the school.
In 1992 he came to the Lord. In 1993-96 he studied at the Theological Academy in St. Petersburg, served as a youth leader and preacher.
In 1996 he was ordained a deacon ministry in the church of Syktyvkar.
From 2000-02 he continued his studies at the East Mennonite Seminary of the USA on the Master’s program. After graduating from the Seminary, he returned to Russia and worked as a preacher in the church, as well as among orphans.
In 2008, Artemiev O.V. he was invited to work in the Association of Slavic Churches of the Eastern Coast of America responsible for the education department. Together with the family (his wife, Irina and four children), they moved to the United States.
From 2008 to 2012, he studied under the Doctor of Theology program at the International Theological Seminary of the USA, in 2012 he successfully completed his dissertation on this program.
Currently, he also serves as a responsible education department and director of the Biblical College of the churches ’associations of the West European and Eastern Coasts of America and Canada.
