Konstantin Likhovodov, born in 1971 in the city of Frunze, Kirghiz USSR, in a family of completely non-religious people. Until the age of fifteen, he had not heard anything about God, except that He did not exist.
At the age of fifteen, he met a young man who had Christian convictions, and from that time the path to Christ began. Conscious repentance occurred on February 7, 1993, and was baptized the same year on July 3. From the first days after repentance, there was a great desire to talk about the Lord, both with people far from God and with Christians.
In 1995, he was elected as a youth leader in the central church of Bishkek, from that time he began working in the Ray of Hope mercy mission as an evangelizer. It was the time of regular trips with the preaching of the Gospel to various parts of Central Asia and some regions of Russia.
In 1997, the Lord presented spouse Helen, today we have three children: son David – 16 years old; daughter Xenia – 15 years; daughter Anastasia – 10 years.
In 2000, at the suggestion of the leadership of the Union of Churches of the Kyrgyz Baptist Church of Kyrgyzstan, they left Bishkek for Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan, for missionary service, where they did this work for four years.
In 2004, they returned to the native central community of the city of Bishkek, and in 2005 he was ordained to the presbytery ministry. After a short time he was elected the leading presbyter, this ministry was performed until July 2008.
In July 2008, they emigrated to the United States, and in February 2009, they were elected to a ministry ministry in the Slavic Church of the United States of America Portland Word of Life, where we work to this day.
